Ready to bring in some backup?

Pull up a stool, friend.
Tell me everything.

Especially that stuff.

Use the form to tell me what you’re working on, what’s feeling not awesome, and which kind of support you’re eyeing.

Maybe you’re gearing up for a launch, rewriting your website, reworking your brand before a rebrand, or perhaps just (beyond) ready to feel excited by the notion of building for your biz again.

And hey, if you’re not sure which offer fits? Absolutely a.otay.

That’s kind of the whole point of the form. You tell me what’s happening, I’ll point you in the right direction.

Gimme the good stuff, the messy stuff, the “I don’t know how to explain this but…” stuff.

Frequently Asked Questions

01. Do I need to know exactly what I need before reaching out? +

Nope.

You can show up with a “something feels off but I can’t explain it,” or a few links and a hunch.

You don’t need to diagnose the problem before you reach out. Tell me what’s happening, and I’ll help you figure out how I can help.

02. How far in advance should I reach out? +

As soon as you know you want support (especially if there’s a launch, website update, rebrand, offer shift, or big visibility moment coming up for ya).

Some offers have shorter timelines than others, but the earlier you reach out, the easier it is to find a spot that doesn’t require anyone to enter panic mode.

And personally? I’m a biggggggg fan of avoiding panic mode.

03. Can you take this off my plate entirely? +

Sometimes, yes.

A lot of my work is done-with-you: editing, extracting, shaping, naming, helping you finally say the thing the way you’ve been trying to say it…that sort of thing.

But if you need me to take the scraps, rants, voice notes, rough ideas, and what feels to you like “here’s what I mean but better” nonsense and turn it into words you feel stoked to share, there’s an offer for that too.

That said, I’m hyper-selective with from-scratch writing these days. Not because I’m being precious about it. Okay, maybe a little.

But mostly because the best results happen when there’s a strong fit, some real-deal jazz hands level excitement, and enough raw material for me to build from.

04. What happens after I submit the form? +

I’ll read through what you sent and reply with the best next step within 48 hours.

That might be a booking link, a recommendation, a clarifying question, or a “this other offer is actually the better fit” nudge.

A few words from people who’ve handed me their words and worlds

“The best investment l've ever made in my business was hiring Steph to help me define my brand voice in email

(which has now trickled into all my socials). Having her eyes on my content before I hit send has given me SO MUCH confidence in my writing.

Amanda Kohal, social media strategist and founder of The Instasite

“Steph Laffy is a pain in my ass. Yeah, she can write great copy and draft on-band headlines you’ll absolutely adore, but…at what cost?

Challenging you to not settle? Going deeper on your brand? Putting your soul paper? It’d be nice if she’d just skimp every once and a while, but clearly that’s not her nature.

I wish there were more like her. You’d be silly not to hire her.”

Justin Blackman, Brand Voice Pro

“Nearly every prospective client mentions the energy and connection they feel on my website and in my message.”

Paige Buda, Brand Strategist & Designer

“She’s made my writing better AND my writing experience easier, more honest, more effective, and more fun.”

Alex Stacey James, Leadership Coach & Mentor

“I feel like Steph has given me permission to be me and shown me how to translate it into words.”

THE WRITE POUR

TL;DR?

Apparently, writing in third person is supposed to make you sound fancy.

TELL ME EVERYTHING

Steph Laffy is a brand voice + personality strategist, writer, and real-life former bartender helping founders, service providers, and creative small-but-mighty teams find the voice, message, and point of view that makes their brand one-of-one (as the marketers like to say).

Her thing is finding what’s already there. The patterns, instincts, opinions, stories, phrases, and weird little tells hiding in the way you already think, speak, write, and work as a brand and/or human, so you can show up with confidence, build a brand world, and draw in the right kinda crowd.

So, did it work? Did she sound fancy?

No? K, cool.

Hope you come hang out anyway.
