I was having a chat the other day with a client who was feeling antsy about really stepping into her I’m-extra-awesome-just-as-I-am shoes. You know the feeling… That backspace and then retype 10 times, only to never actually post the thing or send the message. Or the, put on the extra-cool outfit and then immediately remove […]

“Steph, I just want to sound less like the Queen in my emails!” *cue frustration pout* Here she was, this kickass human doing kickass things, and she could not, for the life of her, figure out how to just be herself in her copy. And, she’s not the only one, is she? No, she’s not. In […]

Books to me are one of the MOST valuable tools I have to create success in my life and in my business. You can learn from them, you can be inspired by them, you can daydream with them, you can relate to them…the whole gambit. Even reading 1 chapter or for just a few minutes a day can have such an incredible impact of your learnings and…dare I say…Creative Powers. Seriously, I cannot count the number of new ideas that have been born from the most wildly unsuspecting books this year. You definitely don’t have to read 50 books a year (You only ever have to do what’s right for you), but I dare you to read one page a day for the next month and see how empowered you feel by what you’ve absorbed. Need some help picking your first one of the year? Here are my 10 favourite reads from 2020!

“Once upon a time, there was a man named Jack Gilbert, who was not related to me—unfortunately for me.” This opening line is my literary version of “You had me at hello”. And, Elizabeth Gilbert definitely had me at hello. She has me for the rest of the book too, in fact. From start to […]

Join…

Her thing is finding what’s already there. The patterns, instincts, opinions, stories, phrases, and weird little tells hiding in the way you already think, speak, write, and work as a brand and/or human, so you can show up with confidence, build a brand world, and draw in the right kinda crowd.

So, did it work? Did she sound fancy?

No?

K, cool.

Hope you come hang out anyway.

Apparently, writing in third person is supposed to make you sound fancy.
